03 · BID MANAGEMENT

The bid calendar, the RFI log, and bid day - in one place.

What used to live in three spreadsheets and one whiteboard lives in one place. You know what's due, who owns it, and which subs have quoted. Bid day doesn't sneak up on you.

BID CALENDAR

Synced read-only from iSqFt and BuildingConnected.

Invitations land in the same calendar the rest of your team is looking at. Tag by GC, by project type, by estimator. Filter to what you actually have capacity to bid this week.

RFI TRACKING

RFI log that stays with the job.

Questions you send and the answers that come back are logged against the project, not buried in email. Addenda link to the relevant RFI thread. New estimator on the team can read the history cold.

QUOTE LEVELING

Sub and vendor quotes, auto-leveled.

Three vendors quote the same pump schedule. We level them side by side - price, lead time, exclusions, freight. Pick the line you want, it flows into the estimate. Paper leveling sheets are optional.

BID DAY MODE

Locked-down view for the final four hours.

Estimate freezes except for the bid form fields. Add-alternates you can still move; assembly pricing you cannot. Stops the 1:58pm panic edit that breaks the leveling sheet.

HIT RATE

Post-bid analysis you'll actually look at.

Win rate by GC, by project type, by dollar range, by estimator. Margin on wins vs. losses. If a particular GC is walking you down every time, the data shows it.

HANDOFF

Clean export after award.

Awarded job exports to Procore or your accounting system. Labor, material, schedule of values, subcontractor list. PM starts with the estimate intact, not a printed PDF they retype.
